As part of the MONTH OF PERFORMANCE ART 2013, the project aims to explore the thin line between action and passiveness. Determination and acceptation. Discovery and blindness. Action and stillness. Your choice is politics, your mere movement is politics.
Unchain your existence, dirt your hands, find your way. And maybe you’ll find out the only WUNSCH/DESIRE you wish, nobody can give it to you, except you. Today we have no closed cages holding us. The door is always open. Control is thinner, and through mass-media and imposed needs, stands a veil on our eyes.
Repetition is the rhythm of our everyday lives made of daily, unsatisfying and exploiting jobs and an endless list of other endless lies. Are you a victim? Are you powerless?
Hints: Beat fears to go beyond appearances. Seek the vision, the images, the sense between the lines.
Stare in to the windows of a secular oppressing power. Move your hands. REANIMATE.
Like a pendulum moved by a conscious and willing action to look for a never fixed truth always changing.

The Teilnahmerei is back once again!!!
You are all invited to the “BE YOURSELF PARTY”, Friday the 15th of March, from 7 p.m. on, in SAMEHEADS – Richardstrasse 10, Neukolln (U7 Rathaus Neukolln).
WHAT IS IT?
It’s not just a party, but a moment for staying together again, making music, discussing, having a lot of fun, express ourselves!!!
HOW?
Theme of the event is “Be yourself”: that means, drop the mask and feel free to express yourself the way you want!
In a society that always pushes us to be like in a movie, like models, like a object, all the same, all in a category, all like a IKEA mobel, we want to say “don´t follow the wrong objective, feel your uniqueness, reclaim your freedom to be and to do what you want and want you like to… be simple_beyourself!”
If you are a painter, a photographer or just a creative person who wants to bring his work to express this theme, bring it with you! There is the possibility of making a free exhibition during the night.
If you are a musician, a singer or you just like music, you can bring instruments and voice: from 7 p.m. on LIVE JAM SESSION!!!
WHY?
Die Teilnahmerei is a cultural association and much more. It used to be a free space where people could meet, discuss ideas, projects, share them and create together. It was a special place that for some months existed in Wrangelstrasse and was forced to move out.
We are now trying to start again with all these activities, looking for a new space where we can all meet and make this project real again!
For this reason, we need your support and your ideas.

After a very long time, we are finally restarting the project!! We are now looking for a new space, meanwhile we will organize some events in different places in berlin in order to bring everybody together again and get support to open the “Teilanhmerei 2.0”. For this reason, we would be really happy to see you THIS SATURDAY, 16.02.2013 in MANO CAFE (Skalitzersrasse 46, ecke Lausizerstr. Kreuzberg) FOR A CRAZY CARNIVAL PARTY!!!!!! HERE MORE INFOS: Soliparty for Die Teilnahmerei. The Teilnahmerei is not only a cultural association. It is a community of solidarity, a space for sharing, in search of a new physical location because, in context of rising rents and immobilien markt’s policies in Berlin, it was forced to leave from Wrangelstrasse. The Teilnahmerei is also a political laboratory that has created and shared cultural workshops, arts and crafts out from the business law! We want to open a Teilnahmerei 2.0 with more people and more experiences and, in order to reach this goal, we need you (and your little free donation). The free donation for the party can be from 1€ to 1000000€ (how you can and want). This trash party is a Carnival Party so put on some make up and take a mask! From 16:00 on you can participate in the WORKSHOP “Make your own mask!”. Feel free to bring materials and fabrics! So, prepare yourself for the craziest carnival party of Berlin! Put on a mask and be what you want to be! SEE YOU ALL THERE and wear your costume!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
