Ganna Gryniva is a young Ukrainian jazz singer who is living, creating and playing music in Berlin. Born in Siberia, grown up in Ukraine and Germany, Ganna is searching for a way to express her multiculturalism through music. As a daughter of a classical pianist, she started studying piano at the age of 6. When she and her family moved to Germany in 2002, Ganna began to study classical singing. In the following years she participated in numerous choirs and bands, singing classical music, pop, rock, musical, jazz, traditional African music, reggae and ska.
Having gone through different musical genres, Ganna found out that Jazz is giving her most satisfying way of making music, speaking, and expressing herself. In her musical projects Ganna is always trying to use the jazz language as the main tool, mixing it with other musical genres.
